Time is not a gift

In relationships with people, I always look for two things: depth and warmth … are they so hard to find today?

Human relationships must have a soul.

But warmth means goodness and openness of heart (an example is Pope Francis) and depth requires patience.

The patience to stop and listen to the other, which is the exact opposite of the haste with which today we lead the life, where we have time for each other only for our own benefit, if the other can give us something.

But if it is a gratuitous gesture… no, there is no time for another person: time is money. It is not a gift.
